What is Kaya's Deck?
Located
right outside our back door is one of the best views in Bodega Bay. Kaya's
Deck* is the perfect place to enjoy a glass of wine (feel free to bring
a snack) while watching the sea life in action. On any day, you can expect
to see one of the many resident harbor seals fishing the channel, hundreds
of birds perched on the jetty and plenty of windsurfers braving the sea
breeze.And it's not called Kaya's Deck for nothing. The coolest dog on the planet called this place her home and became a fixture here for people visiting from around the world. We're sad to say that Kaya died of canine ehrlichiosis in September of 2004 so get your dog checked for it soon.
